Secondary correction of Cleft Lip & Nose
Cleft lip and palate warrants invasive treatment early in life. Despite extensive primary surgery secondary correction of the lip and nose remains necessary for a large proportion of patients.
During this intensive two-day course, experts from the field will share their knowledge and views on secondary correction of the lip and nose in cleft patients. The faculty will guide participants every step of the way, as they learn to plan and mark surgeries and carry out the dissections in the wet lab.
The practical sessions will be performed on fresh frozen cadavers with two participants per specimen, and will cover the essential techniques for secondary correction of the lip and nose.
